DAY 31: 31 OF 31

Welcome to day 31 of 31.

I've thought about this day countless times but today I don't have any words.

Do I type another post as usual?

Do I make this a thanksgiving post?

Do I make it about lessons I've learnt so far?

I have a lot to say and nothing to say. So I'm going to make it a mixture of everything.

Another post

Since the wilderness post, I've really wanted to issue a disclaimer about labelling seasons.

It's easy to call a hard time, a wilderness season but fail to recognize that this was probably a result of your own bad behavior and not some grand plan from God.

Forgetting the role you played in the mess and crediting it all to God or other people.

He's not always the bad guy (scrap that; He's never been the bad guy). Fix what needs to be fixed, change what needs to be changed and submit yourself to His leadership. Let Him label that season for you, don't go about throwing names around.

Lessons I've learnt

Time truly is fleeting, so soon, it's been 31 days. The days will pass regardless of what you do with it.

I've seen that throwback trend to 2016, where people are posting pics from 2016.

Makes me wonder what life would be in 2036 if Christ tarries. As swiftly as 31 days have come so will 10 years come. We can sit and dream about the future or get to work to make it happen. Dreaming is good but executors are the winners.

Thanksgiving

Thank you to everyone who read, shared, liked and commented. Thank you for listening to me nag, think out loud, share and ask questions. I do not take it for granted at all.

This place is going to be quiet for a while. Hopefully, there is a tonne of content to return to if you miss us. I wish everyone the very best of the new year. From the depths of my heart, thank you for spending 31 days with me.

Yours

Juliana
